I've watched every Miami, OH game this season (my wife is an alumnus), and they are an average team at best. Against teams with good offenses, they've gotten it handed to them this year.

I agree. I liked Northern Illinois by 20 before I even knew the line. I've watched a lot of Miami ohio the last few weeks and they looked average against the worst mac schools. NIU is an elite MAC school. This could get out of hand early.

NIU covers here. The MAC has been easy money all year long. The only game I've missed on was Kent Stae v Ohio.

These two teams met last season with N. Illinois scoring a 27-22 win but they came up well short as 10-point favorites. In fact, the Huskies have won each of the last three meetings dating back to 2006 but they haven’t cashed once, winning three close games as double-digit favorites.

Miami’s defense has held the opposition to 21 points or less in four straight games and they will need it all working tonight to stop the N. Illinois rushing attack, averaging 279.2 yards per game.

Northern Illinois is on ATS slides of 0-5 on a neutral field and 2-8 against teams with winning records. Meanwhile, Miami is on positive ATS surges of 4-1 on fieldturf and 5-2 in conference games. And in this series, the underdog has cashed four of five times.
