    oklahoma versus nebrasa thoughts
anyone think this line will go down to -3.5. i think it will probably go to -4 or -4.5 by game time. i like the sooners in this match up. especially at home. what do you all think ? they may be due for a let down after that emotional win over OSU but I think they will be prepared for nebraska

If Martinez was healthy I'd be picking the Huskers outright easily in this game. But its tough for me to play this one not knowing how healthy he is. But yeah- as long as there is uncertainty with Martinez I can't see this game getting down to 3.

I would bet martinez plays. We've been resting him for weeks so I think he will start. Nebraskas d is one of the best in the country. I think they have the edge

Based on the past history, I would guess the OU-Nebraska game means much more to the Sooners than OSU.

Nebraska covers here. Their Defense is something OU hasn't seen before.

This game is all dependent on Martinez... the Nebraska running game is 10 times better when they have a homerun threat from the QB position... It means that the DEs for OU can't pinch down and clog up the middle... They basically have to play spy against the zone read... then this allows Helu and Burkhead to get lots of yards....Plus Martinez for all the talk about his lack of passing...when healthy he has a better arm than Cody Green and can pick apart a secondary that is playing up to guard against the run...

I think Martinez will be about 80% but with turf toe (which as an athlete is one of the worst things to have) I am not sure what explosion he will have... The line seems about right because OU is more dynamic on offense and Nebraska has a far superior defense..

That trend may not help them much playing this game in Texas

I've got a futures ticket on the 'Huskers to win the Big 12, don't see any reason to not take them and the points in this one. Either win it all or win nothing, makes it very simple.

Martinez may have been ruled out as the line has jumped to 6.5.

                        I got Nebraska @ +5.

the line is at 6 because of the unstable QB siutation but will come down once Martinez announces he is playing. Lock up Neb!

It seems like you think OU is going to win because they are playing at home. You've posted something about OU playing home twice.

FYI, this is the Big 12 championship game. It's being played in Dallas.

Might want to rethink things a little bit and know where the game is before you put money on it.

Isnt this Nebraska's last season in the Big 12? If so could the conference be all for Oklahoma and perhaps calls will go their way? I'm sure the conference would rather have Oklahoma in BCS rather than Nebraska, since after all they are leaving

This game is not in Oklahoma. I know that someone else has already pointed that out.

The fans will be split 50/50 in this game. Nebraska may even have more fans there.

I've been told that Taylor Martinez will start. I wonder what the mindset of L Jones will be in this game after throwing 5 picks against Nebraska last year.

sorry guys i didnt know that. i had no idea its already this far in the season and this week are the title games. season went by so fast.

thanks for the heads up WB and company. i actually was going to bet this game cuz i thought it was in oklahoma. being in texas that makes this one a no bet for me . regardless whether martinez is playing or not. it will be about oklahoma's explosive offense against nebraska's suffocating defense.

Calls will be in Oklahoma's favor, but I don't think they win by more than 3.

I see Oklahoma winning and covering vs. Nebraska.

I dont think that OU covers in this game, but the real play for me will be the uder in this game. Just take a look at the score when they played last year granted Huskers offense is much better this year but with the QB situation shaky already for the Huskers dont see them exploding for points. Huskers pass defense will neutralize OU's passing offense and only offense for that matter. Under is where you make the money in this game
