I would not even tease Nevada because they could easily lose this game outright after just winning the biggest game in school history.

Remember that this game is totally meaningless to the Wolf Pack as they are going to the same bowl game whether they finish 11-1 or 11-2, whereas La Tech is playing to become bowl eligible.

All due respect, LT, but the game is not meaningless to Nevada. A win gives them a share of the WAC championship and loss drops them to third place. Yeah, believe it or not, most college teams take pride in that shit. And it's not like Nevada is gonna stop playing just because this game won't determine their bowl status. La Tech has the weakest pass defense in the conference, ranking 117th in the country, allowing over 300 ypg. You don't think Nevada is gonna have some fun with that?

It's just a matter of talent. Nevada has way more of it than La Tech and they aren't going to sleepwalk through this game.

I can't disagree with any of that. But it still could be tough for Nevada to get past last week's huge win. I think I'm going to pass on this one.

We will not lose this game for this reason. They haven't finished what they started and will look to give LaTech a good run. This game may cover but LaTech will no win because we were caught sleeping...Ault probably let them enjoy this for 3 minutes and then told them to be ready for next week because winning the WAC (or at least having a share) is still not checked off the to-do list. Don't try to out think the room in this one.

They have the Boise tape and know they can play, but we are playing our best ball right now...go big or go home mentality here.

La Tech is the play as bad as it sounds. Public all over Nevada, and the line moves 3 points the wrong way by Wednesday? C'mon man!

La Tech at home is usually all you need to know for at least a lean. ( despite Navy this year) . Someone mentioned Boise there last year. And I'm not big on going back in history, but look up Hawaii's BCS bowl season of a few years ago.

I can't imagine why anyone would tease a game where the OU is this high... in a shootout there is a massive range of possible scores.

Another thing is the opening line, I really wonder if it is -12 or -10, I am afraid it's -10. I know, sometimes the books try to screw up. I am not pro, but learn from my mistake and this very board and how the lines go + big money or small money bet. This is just my opinion only.

Guys this line has lost it's value and unless you got it at 13 and hopefully bought to 14 or took even took it at 10 you should stay away from this game completely.

I'm a Nevada guy and I like to think know our team fairly well, the play is on LT...shit if the 4pt drop isn't a good enough indicator I don't know what else is, but I can't see us losing this one. The emotion of last week and the travel will come in to play early and the line reflects this. If we start slow the game will be more competitive and we will have to come up with some plays in the 2H to finally pull away. However, if they start fast and come out awake, this could turn into a 2 or 3 score game but we don't really blow teams out on the road (20+) pts although we gave Idaho a good whoopin'.

The line being where it's at is basically a coin flip and you are wasting your time trying to pick heads or tails. Nevada will not blow out LT and LT will not (hopefully not) win. The total, however, is overinflated IMO and this should stay under the 69 or 70 it's at now but going over isn't completely out of the question.

If you want a play take Boise and anything because I expect them to destroy Utah St by 50...that's more of a bet than this one.

I'm a LaTech alum and will be at the game Saturday. We have a very good running back in Lennon Creer (transferred from Tennessee and is 2nd in WAC rushing), and a very good kick/punt returner Phillip Livas (who is tied for NCAA record in punt/kickoff TD returns). That being said, Nevada's offensive attack scares the shit outta me and I dont know if our defense can hang with them. I do see a 41-38 type game going down - over the last few years we took Boise and LSU to very close games and beat Mississippi St here in Ruston, and I think we are overdue for a signature win. I'm teasing my Dawgs up and hoping we can pull it off... Go DAWGS

The original line has now dropped 5 points down to 7.5 at several books. I don't think it will drop any lower, so I'm adding more on the Wolf Pack now. Clearly, many people think I am off track in my thinking, but I'm seeing a two-TD+ victory here despite what the books are doing with the number.
