#5Ya know I always wondered the mentality of recruiting kickers....most of them always seem to be advertised as "walk on's"...didnt Texas Tech have a big story last year that they pulled their kicker out of the crowd?
Most college kickers are mediocre. You'd figure big time programs would put emphasis on recruiting a stud kicker/soccer player...unreal Boise just lost their national championship hopes on a 26 yard FG miss

#7The game was fixed and the BCS payed off several players to have Boise lose.
It's all common sense that the BSC wants everything to work out perfect!Comment -

#9I believe most kickers are on partial scholarship. Most teams don't want to waste a full one on those sorry fuks.Originally posted by MTekYa know I always wondered the mentality of recruiting kickers....most of them always seem to be advertised as "walk on's"...didnt Texas Tech have a big story last year that they pulled their kicker out of the crowd?

#10you give these kids too much credit, it's called choking. 26 yard field goals are easy to make, pressure situations are for elite players which there are very few of.Comment -
