Just wondering if anyone else finds this line a little bit interesting. Does OHIO have any major injuries? I have done pretty well betting on MAC games this year and I am probably going to bet big on this game.
OHIO has to win this game to win the MAC east title and secure a spot in the MAC championship game.
OHIO IS 7-3 ATS, Kent State is 3-6 ATS. OHIO has won their last 5, while Kent State is 2-3 losing their last 3 straight (TEMPLE 10-28, ARMY 28-45, W.MICH. 3-38). Kent State's head coach just resigned after they were rolled over by Western Michigan 38-3 last week. Players might be playing with some emotion for their head coach but emotions can only go so far. OHIO has also had more game prep time coming off a long week after beating TEMPLE 31-23 on 11/16.
I am not an expert whatsoever but OHIO -3.5 seems like a great play. The only thing that I am hesitant about is that last year Kent State beat OHIO@ OU 20-11. This might only be more motivation for an OHIO team that has been solid in conference play all season long
take my reasoning for what it is worth, but I would like to hear other opinions why this line is so close, or if you like the upset for Kent State.
