    Tex A&M -3.5
UT & A&M fans besides being a Rivalry game how does Texas, beat A&M?? Who would have thought the public play would be A&M on the road.. Facts are UT has not beaten anybody this year other than Nebraska..a team they have owned forever it seems for some reason. UT has been smoked at home this season.. What keeps it from happening on Thanksgving?

I am really looking for opinions and thoughts on this game from both sides. I am not a college football know it all and I am curious how others see it. From my vantage point A&M goes to UT and smacks them around at home like all other quality opponets have this year.

I wish I knew of some real reasons why the line is only 3.5. A&M is ranked 17th in the nation. A&M is on a 5-game winning streak with wins over oklahoma, baylor and nebraska. I don't see how texas can even be motivated to beat A&M. They have no shot of going to a bowl game. I guess the line is low because it is at UT and they traditionally beat A&M at home (home team is 10-2 ATS in head to head last 12).

A&M the better team here ... I think they win and cover ... about the spread, last week everyone said the same thing about wisconsin at -4 "conspiracy theory" ... Don't over think sportsbetting too much .. go with your first read. A&M the better team and the line moved from -3 to -3.5 so bettors are starting to pound them ....

Guys I have been following this game for YEARs remember last year when it was a shoot out every 3 plays were Tds TAMU is the better team and should win by 10-14 but you can throw the record books out the window on this one

Texas is going from the BCS championship game to not even bowl eligible. That takes some talent right there. They had lost 4 straight until beating Florida Atlantic last week. They had also lost 2 consecutive games at home against Iowa State and Baylor. Gotta take A&M tonight.

Since the Big 12 was formed the Horns have all but spanked Nebraska, OSU and A&M year after year. This year OSU finally broke out after losing 13 strait, the Aggies may do the same but my gut tells me the Horns come to play. BUT, i have never seen anything like this having followed the Horns for ages. Maybe we go crazy and win by 30 or get drilled by 30.

A&M is on a roll right now and have been a cover machine since the middle of the season, but they are coming off a hard-fought upset over Nebraska. Be careful with this one Lyon... I think the Aggies are the play but I would not be surprised if they had a letdown in this spot.

Thanks for everybodies opinion on this game. I am not a good college football guy and wanted some opinions. From the outside A&M looks like the play, but UT can salvage some issues with a win here. Tough call.

                                  Wouldn't touch it, lyon.

Texas is like a dead corpse right now, but they have their rival at home and they're playing for a bowl game. Will that be enough motivation? It's not a question of talent, which makes them dangerous.

Texas could be a dangerous team tomorrow, I like A&M. Safe play is to flip the game on with your favorite drink and watch. I like to take the whole Thanksgiving day off (from gambling) and just enjoy. Whatever you do GL and have a safe Holiday!

                                          Am I missing something?
Texas has 5 wins, if Texas wins, aren't they bowl eligible?
AND what does A&M have to gain? They have 8 wins, a 9th would not put them in a much better bowl, would it?
SO you have a visiting team (A&M) that might be in a letdown mode, coming off a huge upset win over Nebraska, against a HOME team that can salvage a little pride by beating A&M on national TV and getting to a bowl.
Thus the line is small, 3.5, and 65% of betting is on A&M.
But you still have to consider the basics... A&M is playing well since they changed QB's, and Texas stinks on offense.

a&m is playing their rival, no letdown game here, they've had chances for let down games after beating Oklahoma, but then crushed Baylor on the road

A&m is playing for a likely invitation to the cotton bowl, a loss drops them to Insight/Holiday bowl

                                                  Texas A&M has the momentum
Texas A&M is the better offense
Texas A&M is the better defense
That doesn't matter at all tomorrow...

As I mnetioned in the other A&M/Texas thread, for the last 5 times these teams met Texas was the big dog chasing a national championship and A&M was the team who couldnt win in November. Tides have turned and now Texas is the team that sucks badly. Heck just a couple of weeks ago Gilbert completed more passes to Kansas State players (5) than Kansas State passes attempted (3) and K-State won big. Doesn't matter tomorrow. You get the best out of every player in rivalry games like this one and Texas is a very talented very underachieving team. If Texas plays up to their talent, then you never know. Its 60/40 A&M -3.5, not enough for me to actually recommend it as a play.

Stay away from this game. Much better plays on Friday and Saturday

last year the tables were turned, and texas had to squeak one out from what i remember. i'd stick with the guy who said you can throw the record books out on this one. i'd have to take the points, this is texas' "bowl game", if you will.

to add, i probably ain't touching shit on this one, just giving an opinion.
