Admittedly I am extremely biased, but get your money on Colorado while you can. All things are not well in Huskerland. Even if this rumor isn't true I don't see him being effective if he plays. Are the brothers Pelini gonna be suspended? CU has been a completely different team since that clown Hawkins got fired, they have been playing inspired football and Cabral will have them jacked up beyond belief for the last NU game in the foreseeable future. I think CU has a decent chance to win outright, let alone with a 20+ point spread.

Agree that Nebraska is trending down and Colorado is trending up....... The problem with screamers like Pellini is that people become numb to it after a while......... Bob Huggins is a screamer of the highest ilk, but he also shows love and compassion, and there is not a player that has ever played for him that wouldn't run through a wall for him...... it seems that at Nebraska, they just want Pellini to be run into a wall.

NOw according to CBS and ESPN, the dumb a** missed a meeting but is still on the team. What kind of punishment he gets for missing that meeting is still to be determined.

Martinez is childish. I dont think Bo was trying to "inspire" him..... I think he was telling him to stop being a jackass. You have to love the athletic ability of Martinez but hate his attitude. Just like in the Texas game when he was benched and he went off and pouted. Nebraska needs a leader a QB and Zack Lee, while not as good at Martinez, is a leader. Too bad he's hurt. Lee always had a positive attitude and was a team player. I hope Martinez will mature in the next 2-3 years.

I agree that to be a successful QB at the level Neb plays, you have to be a good leader. But to expect that from a freshman may be too much to ask. This kid was still in high school just a short while ago.
