What am I missing here? Arkansas' potent passing attack going against the 73rd pass defense in the NCAA. Arkansas has averaged 46 points in their previous 5 games. Mississippi State has yet to impress me this year with the exception of their performance against Auburn early in the year where they had a chance to upset the Tigers. Since then theyve beaten mostly poor teams on their way to becoming ranked. They rely on a solid rushing game with no passing game what so ever. Going against the Hogs who will score points very quickly, it will be very hard for their style of offense to play catch up.
The Razorbacks are without leading receiver Greg Childs but Mallett still has a some reliable targets in the passing game. My prediction is Hogs 31 Bulldogs 24.
