Just the ramblings of an upset Alabama fan, after watching his team pull one of the biggest choke jobs in 'Bama-Auburn history.
Cam Newton....the least of Auburns worries...Look what the Feds found.

#72To all Auburn fans who think this is over
"this case and investigations are not closed"
Sports Illustrated
"Q. Does this mean the NCAA investigation is over?
A. No."
USA Today
"with the caveat thrown in that the case is still under investigation"
College Football News (Fox Sports)
"it is my understanding that this is not complete"
ESPN Video
"Additional information, then, could implicate Newton or further implicate his family and associates in this case. So though Newton can play now, his eligibility could be questioned again months and years down the road."
Sporting News
"The NCAA enforcement staff will continue to investigate this case and if over the coming months, if not years, further improprieties are found, Newton (and Auburn) can be sanctioned. This doesn’t end the possibility of vacated victories."

#75You all need to be on the Paul Finebaum show daily with all these speculations. Funny listening to alabama fans who call into that show before and after the iron bowl. Hopefully Auburn gets it done against the gamecocks so you know for sure which is the best team in the state of alabama this year.Comment -

#77They should just allow the college players a little stipend, then they would have not excuse to succumb to money to pay bills so that they do not go too deep into debt.
I saw something on ESPN, not sure which school, but a coach was let go because he gave a football player a ride across the campus in a golf cart.
They are pretty serious about this &#^$.Comment -

#81Not for nothing but this is your 4th or 5th thread on this topic. I'm posting in it because I want to make you aware you sound like a whining lil girl. Your team was up 24-0, I guarantee we dont have all these garbage cam newton threads if they dont blow that game. NCAA cleared him to play, done deal. Pay for play happens all over the place.

#84some group with money should start an organization to rival the ncaa and tell players they will allow some kind of payment then try to get some of those lower division schools to join. if market forces work properly those players could start playing. it would most likely work best with basketball to start out. those kids would go there and play for pay for a year instead of europe before going to the nbaComment -

#85Read an article from SI that was from earlier in the season(before this came out). Said Cam wanted to play for Miss State, but Dad made the call and said Auburn it is.
