UCF vs. Southern Miss...UCF reminds me very much of Northern Illinois. 2 really good football teams that play great football, yet remain relatively unknown. UCF is better than their ranking, that i can assure you. This is a big game in C-USA play. UCF is the class of the league. They opened as a 9 point favorite here, and that line is now at 10. The total is working it's way down too, a good thing for UCF. UCF is undefeated in conference play, and are playing their final home game in what has been a great season. They aren't losing this game, but can they cover the 10 here? Southern Miss has won this game the past 2 times they've met. Southern Miss is 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS in road games this year. They will be the listed underdog for the first time since their season opener. UCF is 8-1 ATS this year, including 7 straight. I'm passing here, because i believe this is an 8 or 9 point win for UCF. Too close for me. Really like this UCF team though.

Love UCF as a team but I am not sold on laying 9 here. They are fully capable of covering but funny things happen when teams that fly under the radar finally get some credit. It will be interesting to see how they react to the new found target on their back. Well, they always had a target just with a ranking it got bigger. I agree. That is a big number to put up at home and they are the DARLINGS of the league. Their defense is so good they can put you to sleep anytime they want, but your right they need to make the next step and start dismantling some of these teams and build momentum into the bowl season.
