Tonights: How the hell can u bet on B.G.

I agree, I'm seeing people say the pick is BG and i'm like Why? but they have no reason. So if anyone had a valid reason they should let us know!!! BG is the east coast version of Wash ST, maybe even worse!!!
They only reason I can see people taking BG is that the line is WAYYYY low!!!

here's the reason, bowling green has played a lot teams with a decent run defense (average of 46th in nation) which accounts for their 120th ranked rush offense. However, they have still managed to score 24 points per game. Miami's rush defense is 44th in the nation so that alone doesnt say they will shut them down. Their opponents average pass D is 76th and Miami's is 66th so should they be able to score?, I think so.
BG's rush defense statistics (110 in the nation) are also inflated due to playing michigan. On average, their opponents rush offense is 63rd and Miami's rush offense is 119th. BG is 63rd against the pass while playing opponents with an average of a 56th passing offense. Miami's passing offense is 32nd which scares me a little. But, Miami will have trouble running and with BG's average pass defense, I think they have a chance to stop them at times so I do not see Miami running away with this.
If you look at the records, common opponents and the fact that Miami has played 3 BCS schools (fla, cincy, mizz), it looks like miami is the easy pick. But since it is a low spread with random line movement, and taking into account the above info and it is the only game to bet (with degenerates seeing an easy win), i am leaning towards bowling green

tailin.... i am now dumber for having read your post. michigan's defense is the reason why their run numbers are low???? hahahahaha. look at the teams each have played, not even close. and btw, michigans defense is horrid. yes, the one that let up what 65 this past week against a team barely better than miami.

your points support miami if anything. they played harder schedule (better defenses) and they have a starting olineman coming back for this game after being out 5 weeks.

hartwell is the best freshman in conference and by the end of game you will know this. cant double them both. bg defense will be exposed a hell of a lot more than miami's.

youbasically said that miami has a better ranked defense against the run and pass than the average of b.g.'s opponents up until this point.

i agree the line is low, but then again, so was last nights.

sometimes joe vegas gives out winners, like today, knowing that you are going to be betting sat and sun too. they will get their money back the majority of the times. it wouldnt be fun if they just won all the time, they throw a bone every so often. when they do, you need to bite the motha.

If this doesn't smell like a trap I don't know what does. I have that nasty feeling that I'm pissing money away here but oh well. You look at their records this year, take into account injuries, weather, history, and a few other factors and what do you see? Quite a few obvious reasons that the RedHawks should roll here, which is all the more reason to be weary. The statement that "Vegas wasn't built by winners" rings in my head and I feel a bit like a mouse that's about to make a fatal cheese snag attempt. Either way good luck out there

that was so horribl watch. they tried to allow bg to get the win, but they still couldnt

ill take a win by the hook any day. it pays the same as winning by 1000. some got the push, dont think many got the L while on miami.

miami was by far the better team, but some shady calls, the backup qb appearing for no reason after a turnover deep in bg territory, and the fn fog made for a close game. b.g. is horrible.

normal conditions miami wins that game by 28.

yep, no blowout, just another in for me. why are there so many haters on here. all i have done so far this week is 3-0.

pitt will be four. two teams going in opposite directions. pitt is on the rise. offensively the best team uconn will face all year. 2 great rb's, 1 stud receiver with two others that are good. sunseri has turned it around after a rough start. has the smarts and the arm. he will be a really good qb by the end of his time at pitt.

pitt stops the run great, but their secondary is suspect. however, zach frazier blows. he couldnt even get pt at n.d. lay the 5.5. im sure it will keep dropping even though most action is on pitt, so i also have the rlm working for me as it started at 6.5

In their past 6 games UConn is 0-3 when forcing less than 3 turnovers and 3-0 when forcing 3 or more. Pitt as only turned the ball over 3 times once in the past 6 games and that was against miami 9/23. If Pitt hangs on to the ball UConn won't be able to put enough points up.
