    Mac play tonight
NORTHERN ILLINOIS (7-2, 5-0): The Huskies won their sixth straight game overall and fifth in the MAC defeating Western Michigan 28-21 in Kalamazoo. QB CHANDLER HARNISH led the Huskies connected with WR WILLIE CLARK for a 21-yard touchdown with 3:42 remaining in regulation then the defense came up big as LB JAKE COFFMAN intercepted a WMU pass at the NIU 12…RB CHAD SPANN rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown as he reached the 1000 yard mark for the second consecutive year and leads the MAC in rushing…COFFMAN was named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week as he had just four tackles but his big interception on the final drive of the game sealed victory for the Huskies…NIU next plays Toledo Tuesday night in DeKalb in a game that could decide the MAC West title

TOLEDO (6-3, 5-0): The Rockets stayed pace with Northern Illinois as they await their clash on Tuesday night at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb as they routed Eastern Michigan last Saturday in Ypsilanti 42-7 scoring 34 unanswered points in the second half as backup quarterback TERRANCE OWENS in relief of starter AUSTIN DANTIN passed for 234 yards and four touchdowns..P VINCE PENZA was named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week as his five punts against the Eagles averaged 40.6 yards per kick…WR ERIC PAGE is second in the MAC with 66 catches for 776 yards and four touchdowns…LB ARCHIE DONALD is third in tackles with 88 (40 solo)…UT became bowl eligible for the first time since 2005 with the win over EMU

it took Toledo some time to get rid Of Eastern Michigan last week in fact they only led by 8 at the half .

I clearly see a much stronger team in Northern Illinois .
and see more a match game typical of Buffalo blow out here .
Northern Illinois and Offense is just too Strong .

    I like Northern Illinois

    Last week 0-3
    season 10-3 Mac Plays

good luck crusher, NIU is a very solid football team. They are susceptible to the pass but the Toledo is starting a freshman qb, plus NIU wants revenge.

cant find it - I cant believe I took his kent state pick but He was right on with Buffalo and western
although they didnt win - they really should of and I mean they pissed it away when I say they should of won
But I never liked Kent State .
I actually middled/pushed Pitt and Cincy last night
to win for the week anytime I can get a touch down in pro I try to do that .
I pushed Pit -6 and hit +7 Cincy for $1000
had it not been for that I would of had a losing week
Really want to start off right tonight .

              Nicks mac Play is in

Toledo (6-3, 5-0 MAC) at Northern Illinois (7-2, 5-0 MAC)
Rocket Man, burning things we'll never know rooting for Toledo to take the MAC West lead (Icon SMI)

              Tuesday, November 9, 2010 • 7:00 pm ET • DeKalb, Ill. • Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium (24,000); ESPN2
              Series: Toledo leads 29-8
Toledo WR Eric Page ranks tied for eighth in the nation with 7.33 receptions per game and 21st with 86.22 receiving yards per game…Linebackers Archie Donald ranks 22nd in the nation in total tackles (88) and Dan Molls ranks 23rd (87)…Lead the MAC with a +9 turnover differential…Rockets rank 22nd in the nation in rush defense (116.3 ypg). Northern Illinois ranks 11th in the nation in rushing offense (243.33 ypg) and RB Chad Spann ranks 12th in the country in rushing (111.1 ypg)…Huskies rank sixth in the nation in third down percentage on offense (51.64%), eighth in time of possession (32:52) and tied for 16th in scoring defense (18.67 ppg).
              Nick’s Pick: NIU 27 – Toledo 23
Comment: The Rockets have been a pain in NIU’s side winning 14 of the last 16 contests between these two divisional rivals. As Toledo’s defense has vastly improved from last year and they are playing better on the road than at home, give the nod to the Huskies but don’t be surprised if UT makes it 15 of the last 17.
