Boise undefeated and not getting a BCS Bowl...It's possible...

Why can't they sell out their own stadium then? I realize that the teams they play are the equivalent of high school teams, but even high school teams can sell out their stadium. Obviously I'm not a big fan of Boise, but it is a fact that they have had not been able to sell out all of their home games.

Wish that shitty VT team would have just beat them, so we didn't have to hear about them. I'm still amazed that there are 7 voters that think Boise deserves a 1st place vote in the AP polls.

if you really are interested in this you should figure out the percentage of school enrollment as well as the population of boise and compare it to other bsc school to see if they in fact have a larger crowd comparatively to other schools. and if you find other variable you should include them in your findings as well. once you do this we can know for sure if boise's attendance is truly below average.

Tech lost a game that they have won in their sleep since Frank Beemer took over. Since then they have done nothing but win and seem to have covered the spread too (I only know they didn't on the games I bet). They will probably win the ACC because everyone else looks rough right now. If they win out then top 15-20 is probably where they deserve

Boise St will get a bowl game but they won't get THE game that they want. TCU would be a good match up I think.

I'm still trying to figure out how a team can lose to James Madison and be ranked in the top 20.......

Nebraska has a popluation of 1,796,619

Nebraska has over 200 consecutive sellouts...... of 80,000+

In late August 2010, new expansion plans were revealed for Bronco Stadium. The first stages will include adding a new facility to the north endzone, which will house the football offices, weight room, training room, equipment room and locker room. Boise will absolutely got to a BCS so stop arguing about it. But good news now that they are joining a better conference so we won't have to hear from them anymore as they start loosing 2-3 games a year. And Auburn is not over rated.

No they arent because Utah and TCU are leaving. MWC becomes garbage. BSU will go undefeated in that conference as well.. another non AQ conference that wont help Boise in the future.

Also BYU is leaving not TCU but then Fresno and Nevada are coming... MWC will not be garbage...

TCU is not confirmed leaving because no offers have come from a big 6 conference yet. They will come in soon enough though. Big 12 needs 2 teams.. expect TCU and perhaps Houston to fill that role.

The Fiesta, and Orange Bowls MUST take the Big 12 and ACC Champions respectively. THe Fiesta will also get stuck with the Big East Champion. The Rose gets the higher ranking of the two non-BCS teams and the Big 10 Champ. That leaves three open spots. The Sugar Bowl has two. LSU gets one of them. Nothng like some home town flavor to sell out a game. Last year the Sugar Bowl got stuck with Cincinnati. The year before, Utah. The year bofore that, Hawaii. There is no way that they pass up on a big name college this year. They take a Big 10 school. That leaves the Orange Bowl who must fill the stadium. Who will fill that stadium up and spend the most money in Miami. Boise State, Stanford, or the loser of the Big 12 Championship game?

Questioning your last paragraph... and I could be wrong but I thought if TCU gets into the BCS Championship then the Rose Bowl would still have to take Boise? I thought the whole deal was the Rose Bowl has to take non-AQ if they lose their Pac 10 team to the BCS Championship?

There are five BCS bowl Games. You can be sure The Rose Bowl/Pac 10 will be trying their hardest to get Stanford in The Rose if both them and Oregon win out. Boise State deserves their shot...Say what you want about Kirk Herby - he knows more than most of you. Boise State is that good.
