Why isnt Bama @ LSU the Saturday Night ABC game?
(Or more that matter TCU @ Utah)

Im assuming it has something to do with CBS and the SEC?

This is the best game on the board. Now the big night game is Arizona and Stanford? Please, Hawaii @ Boise is a better game than that.

Then how about TCU @ Utah that for sure is better and more BCS implications than AZ/Standford.

Have you checked who their conference has a contract with? Isn't the game already on ESPN?

It's all about TV contracts between the TV stations and the conferences. ESPN or ABC can't pick whatever game they want if they don't hold the rights to that conference's games.

Bama will light them up...especially in the second half.

I agree. IF this was a late game I'd go large on LSU. I think this game is going to be much closer than most people think.

CBS picks the SEC game they want and puts it on at 3:30. ESPN/ABC is then free to pick the next game they want.

TCU-Utah will be a better game than any other, but if you do not get CBSC, you will not be able to watch it.

The Mountain West, in their drive to be taken seriously as a major conference, has TV deals with 3 major networks--- The Mountain, CBSC, and Versus.

Are you too young to remember when there were just 2 or 3 games on ALL weekend? Now we have more than that on a Thursday night by itself. We can watch close to 30-40 games now each Saturday. We shouldn't make fun of any conference's tv affiliation because - whatever it is - is light years ahead of what it was a decade ago.
