I'm liking the points here at home for Utah, this is the biggest game for them since the Alabama game two years ago and look how that ended up Utah came out and surprised everyone so we know they are able to play in the big game. Utah didnt impress me vs Air Force but in this situation I am leaning taking the home dogs.

Utah hasn't lost at home in like 21 games.

But I was not impressed with the Utes not being able to put away the AFA despite forcing five turnovers.

TCU's defense is the best in the nation by far and I would be surprised if Utah can put up more than 2 touchdowns. I've liked this TCU team all year and I think a win against Utah should keep them ahead of Boise for the rest of the season. If that's the case, TCU is still going to need some help to get into the National Championship game.

I can see Auburn going down at Alabama, but they'll probably need Bama to lose again to avoid them sneaking in with one loss. Bama has two other tough games besides Auburn - at LSU and the SEC Championship game (assuming they beat Auburn). If this doesn't happen, they'll need Oregon to stumble in one of their last 4 games (Washington, at California, Arizona and at Oregon State). Oregon has only a 59% chance of winning these last 4, so not out of the realm of possibilities that they drop one, especially with the bullseye firmly on their backs now.

Its tough to call TCU and Utah the game of the week when Bama is travelling to LSU. Id rather watch 2 once beaten SEC teams that have nothing but pure hate for each other than 2 undefeated teams that havent played anyone good yet. Oregon State and Pitt are the toughest two teams they have played.

I agree 100%....TCU v/s UTAH a big game (they are playing to see who plays Boise in a bowl game)...but the game of the week no way....BAMA v/s LSU is the game of the week.

utah looked like shit against afa, 5 to's and still had trouble closing, i haven't seen tcu but with less than a touchdown im all over it just based on how utah played last week

This is a tough one to call. I must say I expected the line to be higher. I personally think TCU is a better team and should win by 10 but Utah at home will be jacked up for this one.

Like they say in football...Defense wins championships!! TCU best defense in college!

I really dont understand this and havent for years now. How Boise State, Utah, and TCU are even in the National Championship conversation is quite honestly ridiculous. I would like one person to sit here and really show me facts how they think that any of these three teams could compete week after week in any of the big conferences. I think last week was a perfect example. Utah looked HORRIBLE!!! against Air Force..if you didnt watch this game you cant comment..with the game still in question they got shut out in the fourth quarter...Boise State looked HORRIBLE against LA Laffayette at home on National TV when they should have been putting style points up they were having trouble stopping Lafayette on the defensive side of the ball. I see people comment about TCU's defense???? against who? Oregon State they rank 77th in the country in total offense. There big win this year is against Baylor.. Who has Boise State beat? Virginia Tech the first game of the year. I think everyone would agree that game would have a different outcome if they played today. Vtech dominated the second half of that game. Utah are you kidding me! there big win is a 3 point win against Pittsburgh!!! Do I need to list the horrible teams that have beat Pitt this year. Miami went there and beat them in Pitt by 30+ points. I just cant see how you can compare a team like Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oregon,Stanford, Ohio State.....I could go on and on with teams that I feel are better than these three teams. These teams are favored week after week by 20+ points. Maybe someone can enlighten me on when the last time an SEC team was favored by more than 25+ points for three straight weeks. The win that Boise State had a couple years ago over Oklahoma has really ruined the entire conversation about who should be in a national title game. I can argue with anyone that if any of these teams were in either the SEC, ACC, Pac Ten or Big Ten that they would not be able to compile these undefeated records.
Here are the teams combined records that each team has beat this year
Boise State (7-0) compiled record opponents record 24-34
Utah (8-0) compiled record opponents 22-47
TCU (9-0) compiled record 34-42
Can anyone explain to me these numbers??? The biggest win of all these three teams is TCU's win vs Baylor or Maybe Boise States win against Virginia Tech. So out of 24 wins there might be two quality wins. By the way Virginia Tech the next weekend lost at home to James Madison!!!!
Can anyone win on a given day absolutely thats why they play the games but to do it week in or week out is something completely different. All three of these teams would be lucky to have winning seasons in any of the major conferences. Its a slap in the face to a team like Ohio State, Alabama that have to play the schedules that they do to have to make an arguement that they are a better team than any of these three.
