Penn State vs. Michigan spread at 3....pound Michigan?

I live in State College and follow Penn State - I'm going big on Michigan. Penn State loses big.

I saw the title of this thread and was planning on coming in and saying something to the effect of what both people already have. Huge PSU fan, and there is literally NO WAY the line should be 3. If Bolden would have started I say Michigan wins a close one, but with McGloin ROFLMFAO there is just no way this is gonna be close. I can't bet against them though, and I really really really want them to get a bowl game to get those extra practices. So here's to a miracle!

The only thing that is stopping me from going big on Michigan is that I don't like to bet against my teams. If I bet a few hundred on Michigan, I'm going to be cheering for Michigan the whole game and cheering for Michigan would be like selling my soul to the devil.

Maybe I should do a teaser with the Auburn game, Michigan at +3 and Auburn at -1 is a damn good bet...close to a

Michigans defense is pretty bad, but our offense is pretty bad as well. The bookies aren't stupid though, they have their reasons for the 3 point spread. Damn, I just know if I drop a few hundred on this game, I'll get screwed over and Penn State will play the game of their lifes, or Michigans defense will crumble and somehow our offense will score TD's.

As a Michigan fan, I'm scared to death of Evan Royster going for 200+ yds and 3+ TDs followed by Robinson going down to injury and Forcier throwing 3 INTs.

Not touching it as a PSU fan but Michigan is awful tempting here. Offense is handicapped by an inept coaching staff and the D couldn't tackle a statue, let alone Denard Robinson. That being said I can't bet against my team.

I wouldn't go as far to say that we have been manhandled on D... We played poorly vs Illinois, sure, but we held Iowa and Bama to 24 or so on the road. Our defense is very beaten up, but Robinson isn't THAT good. Royster may be able to keep up, he's hungry to break the record already. Hopefully McGloin doesn't try and play like he's Favre - going for the big play and racking up the INTs in the process.

I don't usually bet on Big Ten after conf. play starts, cuz you never know and I thought Penn St's D looked kinda tough against Iowa but I'm on Mich. for 3units. If it was Mich -8 or something I might lay off, but I feel good about -3

I know alot of people hate crossing 0 in teasers, but for some games I think it's fine, it gives you some added protection. In the very rare event that Penn State wins this game, the only way I see that happening is by some miraculous ending where PSU would win by a field goal or less, and teasing Michigan to +3 would prevent that.

I probably won't do a teaser though since I would have to tease another spread/total and there are no other college games this week that I'm more confident on then Michigan winning this game.

For those of you that play on Bodog, have you ever noticed how they have a liking toward Penn State? When I've logged in before I've seen Penn State graphics for their NCAA football links. I remember one was one of the Nittany Lion mascot in the graphic. Also, I noticed this week 1 of their 3 college games available for live betting is the Penn State game.

I'm betting one of the programmers or somebody in charge of the website is a big Penn State fan.

Ouch, I'm going to lose $500 if Penn State holds this lead at half time. I guess the upside is Penn State wins, but I'll be parting with 5 Benjamins. There goes my bank roll....I knew we would be doing some scoring in this game on the Michigan defense but I didn't think we had a chance to beat Michigan. The way our offense struggled against Temple and pretty much every other team this year I didn't think we would be able to outscore Michigan in this game. Fuckkkk, I guess that is what I get for betting against my team.

Im shocked at how many PSU faithful bailed on their team. You could had Joe Pa play qb againt this D and it would have been competitive. Not saying I thought it was gonna be lopsided. Just surprised at the love Michigan was getting.
