Is this a smart bet?

The first half TCU line is -21 and the over/under is 28. Thus, would placing a 1 unit bet on the UNLV +21 and a 1 unit bet on the over be a smart play?

Unlv is great at late 4th quarter screw you scores...but horrible everywhere else.

My plan would be play the game spread and then try to middle a bet with the 2H line.
