Taking FSU=Not SO FAST

Not sure who I am taking yet.. but leaning NC State. Here is why

Most of you remember NC State for the team that lost you money a few weeks ago, by laying a egg on the road against ECU. We also remember that FSU was on a roll, before barely getting a win against Boston College.

NC State is good at home going 4-1 Straight up at home. They also have the 6th best Home passing Offense at 328 yards per game vs FSU giving up 303 yards on the road. NC State has to stop FSU's ground game to be succesfull, Virginia Tech had a great game rushing against NC State, is FSU as good as v-tech on the ground, I dont think know. FSU averages 212 yards rushing on the road V Tech averages 211 on the road, buy V-tech has two road loses.

NC State has covered the last 5 games vs FSU, including going 8-2 ATS in the last ten games. NC State has never been favored in the last ten games and +3.5 is the least amont of points they were getting.

No Major injuries for both sides, Ponder will play. I do like NC State, but we can' overlook the Thursday night favorites..
Anybody have thoughts???

I am in agreement with you. After watching NC State play at home a few times, it is a tough stadium to play at. Wilson has been stellar at home, but I agree with you, it is going to be up to the defense to stop the running game of FSU. I have no doubts that this will be a close game, much like the FSU/BC game. The major difference is the NC State has a great offense that can put up some points. With the success of the wolfpack passing game at home and the FSU running attack versus a lackluster defense, I am liking the over on this one. Its a great play, as TD's will be many in this game and will help the over, but could kill you by taking a team ATS. BOL!!
