The Texas QB is awful and Baylor had 673 yards of offense last week against K-State. Am I missing something here?

I know that does not make any sense. I still say take Baylor here. Texas is terrible.

They want average joe to buy into the "they are jekel and hyde" nonsense about Texas. But, they just aren't good.
Baylor + is the way to go

This seems like a no-brainer to me to take Baylor. The only thing I can think of is that the game is in Austin where Baylor usually struggles. I believe that Texas has not lost to Baylor since 1997. I'm not all up for history but Texas has owned the series.

What you are missing are:
1. Texas' underrated defense. You think Iowa State scores 28 pts if Gilbert doesn't throw those INTs?
2. Robert Griffin is the 2nd most overrated QB in the Big XII after Jerrod Johnson. Griffin got SHUT THE F DOWN by TCU.

TCU, and Texas are not in the same league.
TCU would beat Texas by 21.
I would lay up to 13.5 points with TCU against Texas.

You, sir, are a moron.
In 20 career games he has a 37/7 TD/INT ratio (5 of those have been tipped balls by his WR). He has 606 attempts to 7 INTs (or 1 every 87 attempts; Russell Wilson may be the only one who is better and I'm not certain with this season's numbers). Career 63.5% completion (66.7 this season). Oh...and 1,307 yards rushing on 276 attempts (4.7 ypc) and 21 rushing TDs.
He's second in total passing yards this season so far behind only Hawaii's QB.
And he also has a 59 yard punting average.

No.
However, this game is far from a guarantee. Baylor has a penchant to let you down at the most inopportune times.
FWIW though, Baylor turned the ball over inside the 5 twice (and thus, should have had 14 more points on KSU).
The key to this game, mark it down, is Baylor rushing attack. If it gets rolling again this week, it's going to be a VERY long day for Texas (ala UCLA). Finley/Griffin have the ability to gash that D...whether they do is another story. If not, it'll be a tight one and a potential loss (game, maybe not spread).
It's a no bet for me and I'll be content to just enjoy watching us beat Texas.
Fun Fact: Baylor has put .77 miles of offense on the two Kansas schools.

If Texas can dominate Nebraska in Lincoln, I think they could beat Baylor by more than 7 points at home.
On the other side of it, if Texas can lose at home to Iowa State, they can lose at home to Baylor.
That being said, I expect a lot better effort out of Texas after losing to Iowa State.

texas dominated tech on the road, held them to 14 points
tech beat baylor and put up around 45 points, baylor D is worse than A&Ms last year
