Bookie accepting line when bet is placed?
Specifically on college lines, I believe that this can be a considerable advantage if I use it correctly because my bookie doesn't wait for the spread to be final for my bets. I know the spread changes at times dramatically, but is there a formula or strategy in order for me to be at an advantage because I can bet at anytime and have that spread be final?

hes just asking if its a good idea to place a bet early when the opening line is placed before the line moves up or down.

So for example the Giant vs Ranger game opened at 5.5 runs and he is just asking if its a good idea to place his bet at the over or under 5.5 runs before the line moves up or down. And then he wants to no if there is a way to make it profitable by finding a way to try and middle it.

It really wasnt that hard to understand if you just read what he wrote??

to OP, when you place a bet they can't change the spread you bet it at, just the spread for any bets placed after, so this is normal. Yes there are formulas and strategies but thats not a simple question.
