Then it would be a 7 point game.

yeah but the smart move is to go for two on the last TD because now since they didn't make it it's a 2 posession game. If they kick the PAT it's only a one posession game.

Yeah, I thought he should have waited but either way they would have had to convert a 2 pointer.

he had 6 minutes left. Kick the PAT and go for two on the next TD. Oh well. No mention from the TV crew about that bone head move.

I'd go for the PAT on this one

Doesn't really matter. You're going to have to go for it at some point. I don't necessarily agree with it, but least you'll know where you stand.

Should have waited. Very unconventional. But either way, didn't make a difference.

The real question is why did he punt with 2 minutes left?

No coach with a brain does what he did. If you don't make it there, the game is over and your team quits. Kick the PAT and keep your team emotionally in the game.

Likely wouldn't have made a difference the way OU played on defense, but dumb move from a coach who can't win a big game anymore. He's so fortunate he won that one national title with all the choke jobs since.

Stoops...Stupid! Go for PAT and 2 pointer comes for tie, duh! Turnovers, and dumb coaching moves blows this game for #1
