Iowa won't lose two in a row at Kinnick, and MSU's been playing on borrowed time. They've played way above expectations, and they're beyond due for a loss.

MSU hasn't won at Kinnick since the early-90's. Because of their ranking and Iowa's loss today, the line will be short -- I'm assuming Iowa -2 or 3.

i doubt it'll be under 5. And if it does open down around -3 it is going to get pounded right away and move up quickly.

I'll feel pretty good about betting iowa on anything less than 7 though.

I don't like it at as much at 6, but it is what it is.

Will still be a play -- just not as much as if I could get it at 3 or 4.

Iowa is the better team and they're playing at home. The line's where it's at for a reason, Houli. MSU is a solid squad and might very well be the Big Ten's Rose Bowl representative this year, but their first loss comes this weekend.

At -6/6.5, though, it's getting a little tricky because these teams have a penchant for playing low scoring games against each other. Can't wait to see what the O/U is. I doubt more than 40/41 points is scored here.

On one hand, it is. There's no reason for the No. 5 team in the country to be +6 or 7 against No. 20.

Of course not, but we see this happen all the time especially in the NFL. They eliminate value in a typically great spot to fade MSU. I think it will be dead on where the line is set.. oh well. I would just stay away
