Hell yea. MSU had horrible play calling all game long, they should've won by 21+ if they had just thrown the ball against that soft NW pass defense.

I can't complain about the TD, I had MSU in 3 parlays and a teaser

Lost 5k on NorthWestern, that is a complete joke at the end of the game. Up 6 with 7 left, Northwestern is in the hurry up. Then get the ball back with 2 min, go 4 and out, if you planned on trying to stop them, why don't you punt on a 4 and 17 with 2 timeouts left... So they give Mich state the ball, at there 30, call the two timeouts, then miss so many tackles and somehow the Mich state running back isn't coached to go down to seal up the victory after picking up the first down.... I am in disbelief.

I hear you, Vyomguy. I got royally fuked on NW. I understand MSU not taking a knee, though...because by taking a knee and conceding the posession, MSU would have eliminated any chance of getting a first down, and NW would have gotten the ball back down 1 with a little time left. However, that was as miserable a loss as they come. Liked NW all week and played them. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Gemsports is correct that the smartest thing for the MSU guy to do after picking up the first down was to go down, and let MSU run out the clock afterwards. However, I never expect college coaches or players to be that smart.

I agree, don't come in here bashing because you got a lucky cover. Not only should have NW have covered, they should have won the game. They outplayed MSU completely, you got very lucky jackass

I'll disagree here. Northwestern got lucky. Michigan State is a hands down better football team and by pulling that win out they proved it. Northwestern up 17-0 was fluky and that was proven to be true.

They didn't outplay them at all. They out-coached them, but didn't outplay them. If MSU didn't keep trying to revive a run game that was getting stuffed every play, and took advantage of the easy passing game, this would've been over after 3 quarters.

And how often does a ref run into a WR crossing the field on a 3rd and short? That was pretty damn lucky for NW

Maybe for the game, but they definitely outplayed them in the final 36 minutes (and when it mattered most). Had a 35-10 run.

nah bro, I got screwed too, but it is nw's fault. MSU was trying to eat the clock. All nw had to do was stop a few up the middle runs and they let them break one for about 20 yards to screw us while missing about 3 tackles on the play

i am pissed too, but my anger is towards NW
