#2Cincy rolls IMO they've got a hot offense with a confident qb at home whereas usf has just the opposite, should be almost as ez as last nightComment -

#3Neither team the same as last year. Lean towards Cinny, but just not sure they can be trusted to cover the lineComment -

#5Cincy is not at all what they were last year, but it seems like they are starting to get their act together. I think they win comfortably by at least 10.Comment -

#10South Florida is going to get a lot of bites from bettors tonight because they held WVU to 20 points. Fact of the matter is that if you watched the game Bill Stewart slammed the brakes on that game in the 3rd quarter and nursed the lead. There was a lot of criticism of him in the local media for doing so. We (WVU) were doing great through the air (to include 2 touchdowns), but Stewart completely shut down the passing game and held to the run , which lead to only 3 points scored in the second half. In my opinion Cinci has a pretty good passing game, so they should be able to expose this over-rated South Florida Pass D.Comment -

They have been trying to make him a pocket passer, I think if they do not abandon that plan and allow him to be the Mobile threat that he should be then he does throw 3 more picks this week. Conversely if they do allow him to move out of the pocket it could turn into serious yardage. the kid has wheels.
Either way it bodes well for the OverComment -

#14IF you think that WVU could not muster a touchdown against S Fla. in the second half because S Fla's Defense is that impressive you should probably take my advice (at least into account) when you cap this game.Comment -

#15in my opinion it is rediculous to think that in a 17-6 football game in the 3rd quarter that west virginia took the foot off the pedal and decided not to score. The reason maybe their play call looked conservative was because teh defesne was good and took away some of the more aggresive options, but i can see as a wvu fan why u dont want to credit their defesne and simply say they didnt want to scoreComment -

#17I'd have to say I like the under 48.5, (probably 49 by kickoff if you wait). Given the style of D and the fact that 4 out of 5 of SF's games have been under, not to mention the dismal 10 points a game that SF is averaging on the road. I'd say a 24-17 game is very likely. Goodluck.Comment -

#19Under looks like a good one here with cincy by 10-14pts. SFla just dowsnt have a flow on the Offenssive side, but the D can keep it close for a time. Also as far as WVU slowing down there is no question for anyone that watched the game, their coach has openly been one for just taking the win, since they are not looking to go to the title he just wants wins (no matter by what) and get his BCS game for winning the Big EastComment -

#20THE BUZZ: Cincinnati has won 13 consecutive Big East games and would tie for the second-longest streak in conference history with a victory over USF. Cincinnati has scored 80 points in its past two games, while the Bulls haven't scored an offensive touchdown in their past two games.
THE LINE: Cincinnati by 7.5 THE PICK: Cincinnati 27-16Comment -

#23It is literally insane to me that anyone would take USF in this position.
ONE STAT TO CHANGE YOUR MIND IF YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT BACKING THIS GROUP OF SAD SACKS
- They have not scored an offensive touchdown YET in Big East play
They have made their bones on teams like
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers
and
Florida Atlantic Owls
Their only two Touchdowns this entire season that were worth anything were the two they got against Florida in a 38-14 Loss.Comment -

I do on the other hand like who Cinn has earned they scares against. 8 seems like alot of points here, but Cinn coming home under the Friday Night Lights and they get USF who has had trouble scoring against any reasonable defenses.
CINN -8 is my play FWIW

#35USF top tier defense? maybe statistically but look at who they earned those statistics against. I think USF defensive rankings are a bit smoke and mirrors.

I agree. West Virginia could have scored more if they would have stayed aggressive in the second half. They gave up 38 to Florida when Florida could barely get the snap to the QB. The rest of their opponents are trash.Comment
