    Auburn Vs Lsu Game pick
A huge battle takes play Saturday afternoon in Auburn, Alabama as the Auburn Tigers host the LSU Tigers. Both teams come in 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the very competitive SEC West. It will be Auburn's offense against LSU's defense in this contest. LSU ranks 3rd in the nation allowing only 242.1 yards a game and 14.4 points a game. LSU is playing only their 2nd road game in 5 weeks and their defense will be tested against Auburn's explosive offense. They are led by QB Cameron Newton who is 5th in the NCAA with 860 yards rushing. He's also completed 65.6% of his passes for 13 touchdowns. I'm more impressed with what Auburn has done so far this year than LSU. Last week LSU sleep-walked through McNeese State which is understandable after a big road win at Florida, but now that the Gators have lost 3 straight, how good is that win? The week before, they barely escaped a bad Tennessee team. I know defense wins championships, but you still need a little offense to win games. I think Auburn's offense will get to LSU in the 2nd half and win easily.

    Pick: Auburn -6

    LSU Last 4 Games
    W 32-10 vs McNeese State
    W 33-29 @ Florida

    Auburn Last 4 Games
    W 65-43 vs Arkansas
    W 37-34 vs Kentucky
    W 52-3 vs UL Monroe
    W 35-27 vs South Carolina

Good luck with your Auburn pick.
It may be a dangerous play, because LSU always ends up playing to the level of their competition. In other words, taking the points might be better here. This is a no play right now for me. I might sprinkle some on the LSU moneyline before kickoff though. I really like your observations looking into this game. There is one that is getting overlooked, but it's understandable. You won't find it on any stat sheet or trends list. Everytime LSU goes into a game where they are getting no respect from the media or anyone else, they tend to overcome the odds. As an underdog and called a 'pretender' by some, LSU will show up with their 'A' game and have their best performance yet.
