I loved Oregon when I looked at the game. The offensive and defensive matchups, UCLA injuries and suspensions, new #1 in national game, etc, etc, etc. Then I look at a few capping forums and see a ton of people on UCLA and decided to just make it a small play on Oregon and be safe. Should've stuck with my gut...

the problem is squares lose a few more bets and sharps win those bets.

lotta people confuse "sharp" with either a) the side that looks ridiculous--i.e. the "i told you guys middle oklahoma tech would cover the 35!" side, or the "hero" side--or b) the underdog (or the under, for that matter). neither of these circumstances make a wager "sharp".
