I really don't think UCLA has the ability to Backdoor Oregon. I could see a world tonight where UCLA hangs in there with a acceptable defensive performance and decent rushing game.

Thats what I thought too until I woke up. Their O cannot be stopped by ANY Pac 10 defense, and they dont give up any points in the 2nd half. How they blanked a Stanford team in the 2nd half after giving up 31 in the 1st was one of the more impressive things that has happened this year.

UCLA lost by 28 to Cal; they will lose by more than that to Oregon. UCLA's offense was terrible last week, and it will be worse this week, against a much, much better defense. UCLA has trouble at QB -- still uncertain who will start. UCLA's passing game is awful, one of the worst in the country. I have noticed that teams go through growing pains when they institute the pistol offense. UCLA is in the midst of that, I believe. To top it off, UCLA announced last week the suspension of receiver and kick returner Josh Smith and starting fullback/tight end Morrell Presley, for the Oregon game, for a violation of team rules. Oregon's defense is nails. I predict UCLA will not score more than 10 to 14. Oregon will easily put up 40. Oregon has seen the #1 ranked team go down two weeks in a row. That will not happen tonight (hasn't happened three weeks in a row since 1960). Oregon will be ready tonight, in a rockin Autzen stadium, on national TV. I say this one gets ugly. There's no way I would bet on UCLA to stay within 26; they'll be down by 20+ at halftime. The line should be up over 30. Take Oregon to cover, or just watch baseball.
