What '401k' plans do you people have that you can make it immediately liquid within a 3 day period? Considering most currently employed can't cash it in due to employer rules....checks take at least 10 business days ones carrier is engaged then you have to deposit to the books....and let's all just forget the 10% penalty and other 30%-40% tax consequences. Gotta love you guys it's entertaining. At least be realistic and say "I'm taking out a loan against my plan" which is at least 20% advised in a crisis. And what +EV are you getting from missing an entire year or two of gains to simply win one wager.....
