    Mike Leach and Minnesota
Maybe.... Leach said on his Monday radio show he would definitely be interested. He is dealing with his lawsuit against Texas Tech but it's no secret he wants to get back in coaching.

Other possibilities are San Diego head coach Brady Hoke and Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.

Minnesota needs a good coach. The Gophers have not finished above forth place in the Big Ten since 1986 and haven't beaten a ranked team since 2005.

A Mike Leach offense would be fun to watch in Minneapolis.

Would be nice to see a team that passes more than they run in the Big Ten.

I know Indiana does, but they blow.

i can see it happening, i doubt the vikings DC will accept the offer (since he could land in a couple of years a HC job on the nfl)

If Les Miles has a job, then Mike Leach should receive tenure upon accepting the job @Minny.

You can expect to see Leach on the sidelines in the Pac 12 next season if he can get his lawsuit with Tech resolved by then. If not, expect him there in 2012. Wash St, Arizona St, Colorado and UCLA look like formidable suiters in this timeframe with Colorado and ASU the front runners.

I think Les Miles is one of the best and most creative coaches in the country. That team looks like they have a lot of lucky wins year after year but it is coaching, not luck. Kudos to him and his staff. I hope they win the SEC this year.

Linedrivr, you made a lot of sense in your first post but then blew all credibility with your second.

              Les Miles is a joke....period.

so u chalk his success up to luck? the numbers look pretty solid to me with a National Championship to boot.

                2006 - 11 - 2 with a Sugar Bowl Win over ND 41 - 14

                2007 - 12 - 2 beats Ohio St for National championship 38 - 24

                2008 - 8 - 5 with a bowl win over GT 38 - 3

                2009 - 9 - 4 - bowl loss to Penn St 17 - 19

                2010 - 7 - 0 to date
