UCLA covers. They will lose, but by maybe 17 or 21 points.
Uhhhmmm,... UCLA beat Texas @ Texas. Need I say more?!

So that's your only basis for UCLA covering.....them beating Texas earlier in the year.

Oregon has played garbage teams, except for over-rated Stanford and maybe Tennessee. 22 points is a lot, and I'll take them, ALL DAY!

Oregon covers the spread by halftime. In case you did not notice it, UCLA got their tails kicked by Cal in their last game, and also was shut out by Stanford, the team that lost to Oregon. We are talking 35-7 against Cal and 35-0 against Stanford. UCLA's alleged defense has allowed 31 or more points in half of their games, and none of those games were against teams the caliber of Oregon. Oregon's offense has not scored under 43 points all year. They can score 70 against UCLA if they choose to. UCLA does not have a healthy QB. This is easy money.

Mayb bruins in 1H but Oregon could go off by midway 4th quarter... the ducks are off a bye, fully healthy, and are covering machines at home ... on a thurs night especially .. Oregon is looking for that #1 bcs spot and that whole "style pts" thing really does apply. Not a good spot for UCLA IMO

UCLA struggled against one of the worst teams in NCAA.....the WSU Cougars. I like Oregon up to -28.

That's horrible logic.
- UCLA also lost to K-State.
- UCLA lost 35-0 to a Stanford team that Oregon beat by three touchdowns.
- UCLA lost 35-7 to Cal.
If Cal can beat UCLA by 28 points so can Oregon. UCLA could cover but it's a no play for me because Oregon will probably roll them.
UCLA getting blown out has been the norm. UCLA beating a team like Texas has been the flukish exception. Upsets happen but don't expect one Thursday even though I would be happy with it.

If Stanford couldnt cover after scoring 31 pts in the first half, what the hell makes you think UCLA can? Texas cant score, Oregon cant be stopped. UCLA got pounded by sh*tty Cal by 28 pts. Oregon rolllllllls.

This has blow out special written all over it. Ducks cover spread easy here. Coming off bye week and ucla iffy at qb. I almost feel bad for ucla. Atleast espn will have plenty of reasons to keep showing ucla cheerleaders when this gets real ugly in 3rd quarter.

The Pac-10 is notorious for losing big games on thrusday nights (espcially the #1 ranked Pac-10 teams) I doubt UCLA will out right beat Oregon, but I will be a good game to watch

The reason why i agree with him on UCLA +22 is this.
1. Texas and and Oregon run a similar offense.
2. Cal and Stanford both run semi pro style offense and they destroyed UCLA.
3. Houston runs a spread and Ucla beat them to sleep.
I think im gonna stay away but if i had to bet UCLA would be the bet here.

This... Oregon has been very slow starting in games and coming off a buy they will probably be even more rusty. UCLAs Oline and Dline are pretty big upfront and I think they will contain Oregon for the first half. 2nd half Oregon will probably stretch the lead.
Good call Houlihan

No matter what style of offense. None of those teams mentioned have the skill players or talent that Oregon has. This is gonna be a blowout and 25 points is just the beginning.

tennessee is another team thats garbage to add to that list. Oregon is capable of covering but it will all depends of the rumor that 6 ucla players will get suspended.
