    Early game - Mizzou @ A&M - opinions?
To be honest I have yet to see Missouri play this year, however I have seen Texas A&M a few times. Johnson is one of the shakiest passers I have seen in a long time. 9 int's in the last 3 games. The aggie defense struggles to defend the pass. Can they stop the Tigers spread offense? I hear its not exactly the machine it used to be, but is still getting the job done. Everything I see on paper points to Missouri walking out of College Station with a victory.

    Feedback appreciated.

Trying to lock a strong early game in and my gut says this is it and to take the 3.5 and sprinkle some dough on the Missouri ML +150

both teams are garbage. johnson will either lead a&m to an easy win or blowout loss.

Mizzou homer here. This game makes me extremely nervous for the Tigers.

            1. Gabbert is playing with a bum hip
            2. The defense hasn't seen a dual threat qb yet this year
            3. Mizzou hasn't played away from Farrot Field yet, and the 12th man doesn't help their cause today.
            4. Mizzou invented the early season cupcake schedule and opened conference play with the hapless Colorado Buffalos...we have yet to see what the defense can do against a capable offense. The closest we came to seeing this was when they squeaked out a last minute win against San Diego St.

Mizzou will end up 7-4 this year and i really think this is the first of those losses. I am ready to make a big play on A&M. I love the Tigers...just don't see them getting it done today. My 2c.

I'm taking the Aggies for a small play in this one. I see Johnson staying away from the down-the-field passes and cutting down the turnovers. I've been pleasantly surprised by the Aggies' defensive performance so far this year as the expectations were low given the talent.

Thanks everybody. Decided to steer clear of this one. Well not entirely, minimum play ($10) on Mizzou +3.5, just to test that gut feeling out for the day.

Decided my early play is NC State, So. Miss, & Florida State. ML parlay. $200 to win $132. Hate doing this, but seems solid and hope to get a little jump start on the weekend.

I'm a Mizzou fan too, and I have to say you are awfully down on this team for being 5-0. Mizzou has faced a dual threat quarterback in Nathan Scheelhaase of Illinois by the way. Scheelhaase looked good in the first half, but Mizzou put a spy on him the whole second half and pretty much shut him down.

I do agree that Mizzou is in a tough spot here though, apparently Gabbert's "high hip pointer" is more of a rib cage injury as he was seen at practice this week with a flak jacket on. Mizzou's only game away from Faurot Field was the neutral site game in STL which you can't really call a neutral site because I was at that game and it was close to 5-1 Mizzou to Illini.

The only spot I like in this game is the under because both defenses are better this year and the fact that Gabbert is banged up and Johnson has that knack for turning the ball over.
