I may be wrong here, but how would you say that Marshall TD was a blown call? From my understanding of pylon, it is there to mark the goal line boundary, not the sidelines. A reciever's foot knocking into the pylon in the air does not mean they stepped out of bounds. Have no idea what those announcers thought they were talking about.

The pylon is out of bounds............. the call was blown.

Just looked at the radar -- this could take a while................. lots of heavy weather moving through........

Don't play with Mother Nature. My brother was at this game below when lightning hit a couple of people. All hell broke out afterwards. Lightning in a stadium full of metal is a serious tragedy waiting to happen.

Well i guess when the majority of the players have a better chance of being struck by lightning than being drafted into the NFL, you have to be careful.

I guess they explained that a player or airborne player is considered out of bounds if they touch the pylon unless they were forced into the pylon. Replay officials must have thought he was forced into pylon.

Seems like a funky rule for the scenario we just saw though where an airborne player can't even nick the top of the pylon even though they have not caught the ball yet.
