I don't know if Michigan wins another game
Sorry to rain on your parade Sparty, but you might have just beat up on another 5-7 Michigan team.

We are currently 5-1 with the remaining schedule...

Iowa - Went to Kinnick LY and played them tough. Expecting another close loss on Saturday.
    BYE
@ Penn State - Bad PSU team. Got trounced by Illinois at home. But are we good enough to take advantage and win in Beaver Stadium?
Illinois - Owned us in the last 2 meetings. Much improved version of the Illini.
@ Purdue - Injury plagued Boilermakers have a new outlook on the season after winning in Evanston. Has our number (won last 2).
Wisconsin - We did beat them in Ann Arbor back in '08, but they gave us a good whopping LY.
    @ Ohio State - Ha.

Michigan should be an epic fade ATS as the season progresses. The team and program peaked at 5-0.

Rodriguez will stay for 2011 if he can get this team into the post season, but that's in jeopardy at this point.

I agree that they will have trouble winning Big Ten games from here on out, but you have to think they have a chance against PSU and Purdue!

      Penn State is horrible.

      So is Purdue.

Michigan will roll both of those teams.

I think they have a slight chance to win the rest of the way.

I think 7-5 or 8-4 is about right. They have no chance against Ohio State. Wisconsin and Iowa is very iffy. Illinois is doable, especially in the Big House. Penn State may have quit on Joe Pa. Purdue is aq bad team, but the game is there.

looks like more of a 8/4 year barring injuries on either side

Someone please tell me how Michigan's defense is going to improve against the rest of their schedule.

They are 112th out of 120 teams in total defense. They are 75th in scoring defense.

I agree with GoBlue....tough road ahead.

This is typical Dickrod: running up the score on bad teams to distract your fanbase from the fact that your team has a ceiling.

To be fair, Denard had the type of bad game any young QB in a Rivalry game could have. He's a sophomore, what was Jake Locker and Ryan Mallet's excuse? Michigan can still bounce back, but in order to do so that home game vs. Iowa is a must win. If they lose that and @ Penn State, losses to both Purdue and Illinois (whom dickrod is 0-4 combined against) is a possibility, especially in light of both teams winning on the road last weekend.

Friday afternoon I heard a very interesting point from someone on the radio: If Lloyd Carr had a defense this awful, went 0-4 against Purdue and Illinois, barely scraped by Indiana twice, went 0-3 vs. MSU including back-to-back home losses, and got out-recruited this incredibly badly by OSU and MSU, he'd be out of a job. I don't care if Dickrod had to rebuild. This is Michigan. "Rebuilding" means 7-5 and the Alamo Bowl. Its no longer a question of how many games does Dickrod need to save his job, its a question of "do you trust Dickrod to field a competent defense when he never has at any point in his career?"
