Texas was +3.5 against an Oklahoma team on a NEUTRAL field. This game is in Lincoln. If there is anything less than Nebraska -7, I will play it. I would expect it to be between -4 and -6 for nebraska.

Exactly... and then Nebraska will cover and everyone will lose.

Guys, every week there are games where 90+% of the action is on one side... and a surprising % of the time those "huge favorites" lose. It's the way Vegas works.

Normally I'd agree, but people are idiots and will back a team like Texas with points, regardless.

They may open as 7 point dogs, but I'm thinking 9 just based on their recent play.

Nebraska is an all around solid team and they are playing really well right now. I pick them to win by one touchdown for sure and possibly two tds. That nebraska qb is an amazing athlete!

Guessing it opens around 7. Anything less than 9 and I will pound the Huskers like I did last night. T-Mart is for real and will continue to outrun defenses and get better every week with reads which is the key to having success with the running game in the NU offense. There will be no lack of motivation for the Huskers and Coach Pellini after last year's game. Ride the Husker wave while you can. They will put 40+ on the board again and that place will be rocking even though at 2:30 start time now. Going to the NU walk through on Friday afternoon to do some "scouting".

Well right now with a local its -7. Last week early KSU line I got -7.5 and on Monday it was -12. Interested to see what happens. I still think it goes below 7.

Nebraska has infinite more reasons to be motivated for this game than the 'Horns. Texas will be there to play, but Nebraska has been pointing to this game since last December as their farewell F U to Texas and the Big 12. Texas could keep it close, but I'm having a real hard time seeing it. Their only hope is to defensively scheme the Huskers offense correctly, and force Martinez into frequent pass first situations. The 'Horns have the DB's to play bump and run/man on man on the Husker receivers, thereby allowing one or both safeties to drop down into the box to defend Martinez and the run game. If they don't make Martinez beat them w/ his arm... they don't deserve a W.
