Alabama is 12-2 verses South Carolina in the series. In the 20-6 win last year, Ingram ran for a Bryant-Denny Stadium record 246 yards. Bama will pound the ball and do what they have done for the past two seasons.

South Carolina had a great game. They caught the best team in the country in a great spot. Tough for 20 year old kids to get up for 3 huge games in a row. Especially when one of the teams is rested like SC.

Uh look at the 2nd post in the thread.. I was absoultely one of the first to say that I thought it would be close, most likely a field goal game and that I liked our chances to win. I, personally, believe it will be a dog fight between Auburn, Alabama, and LSU for the West. Anyway, you've gotta get pressure on Garcia in order for him to regress to throwing picks. You were not able to do that in Columbia. The Bama offensive line did not protect McElroy very well and personally, I believe if the game is put on his shoulders, he cannot win it. Losing Julio Jones is going to be tough for Bamar.Comment -

I do not believe you saw what Bama is truely capable of and I also do not believe that the Cocks could get up for another game like that again this year. By far the best game they have ever had under Spurrier and what really pisses me off is that I know that they are gonna go lose another one or two games and really screw up Bama's chances of getting back in the hunt. I wouldnt be surprised if Kentucky knocks them off this week. Bama came off two big time games with a ton of emotion and banged up and as good as they have been for 2 and a half years now at the end of the day I guess we have to remember they are a bunch of kids and they can let off pretty easily. My guess is this ship will completely sink or go on an ass whippin spreee.

While I agree to an extent... I do not believe the reason that Alabama lost was because they played Florida and Arkansas prior to playing Carolina. I think the bye week helped us tremendously. Our defense seemed to know what was coming on every play. Our defensive line seemed to manhandle the Bama offensive line and the Carolina offensive line held up against the Bama defensive line. We really did not catch in "breaks" in the game.. we earned every yard on the stat sheet. As a Carolina fan, slightly biased, I am concerned with Kentucky on the road than I was with Alabama at home. I knew that if we could stop the run against Alabama, we would beat the Tide. From what I saw on Saturday, I do believe that we could beat Bama against assuming that we play them again. We have trouble with mobile quarterbacks and keeping containment. I would personally like to face Auburn again in the SEC-CG but I would not be opposed to facing Bama again. I think we beat the Tigers 8 times out of 10.. it took some fluke plays for Carolina to lose that game. I was at the game on Saturday and met some classy Bama fans... Good luck through the rest of the season... tough schedule from here on out for the Tide... Carolina is lucky enough to really only have Arkansas and Florida left.Comment -

I hope those who saw this thread cashed.Last week was a big game for Bama. They wanted to embarrass the Gators on national tv and were successful in doing so. But let's not forget the previous week where Arkansas nearly pulled the upset. Alabama is going to continue to have to take teams like Arkansas and South Carolina's best shot and it takes its toll. This is USC's game of the year and they will certainly play like it. They had an extra week off to prepare for this one and will come out fighting. Take the Gamecocks here. Some shops are offering it at 7 so try to get that # if you can but I'm expecting a win for 'Bama in a 20-17 type game. Going small on the ML might also be a decent option.
