    HARRY'S WEEK 5 PLAYS (18-10 on season)
    Boyz,

Still on a pretty nice roll for this college season. Here are my plays for this weekend....

    MICHIGAN -10 at INDIANA

Gonna ride the Wolverines for a while. Not impressed with the Hoosiers strength of schedule as yet. They ain't playing Akron or Western Kentucky this week. Coach Rod is the happiest guy in the world that his boys are starting to get his system. QB Robinson got dinged last week but the reports say he's "good to go" in this one. If it's true, he should be able to his Heisman stats in this one. Michigan will move the ball on the ground and through the air against Indiana, a team they haven't lost to in the last 16 contests.

      MINNESOTA +5- against NORTHWESTERN

Minny has gotten off to a lackluster start, and Coach Brewster is feeling the heat. His Golden Gophers will get better in a hurry against the Wildcats. Northwestern has been impressive, getting off to a 4-0 start, but reality catches up to them in this one. Minny take advantage of a porous pass defense and wins outright.

VIRGINIA TECH -3- at NORTH CAROLINA STATE

Why is a 2-2 team, one that lost at home to James Madison, favored on the road against a 4-0 squad? Makes one scratch his head. Scratch no more and trust the boys in Vegas. The Wolfpack will lose their virginity in this one. They're catching a Hokies team at the wrong time. Feel good about this one.....but just to be safe I will buy the hook and bet Va Tech at -3.

          DUKE +9 at MARYLAND

It's that time of year where the easy part of the schedules are over....and conference play begins. That said, I think this is too many points for the Terrapins to lay to a team that will probably out-yardage them. The Blue Devils are sloppy and give up a lot of points, but my figures say they have the passing attack to keep this one very close.

          WESTERN MICHIGAN +3- over IDAHO

Went against the Vandals last week when they were laying points on the road at Colorado State.....and they lost outright. Now they're going on the road again (3rd time in 4 weeks) and again they're laying points.....against a better team than the Rams. Not buying it. I'll take Western Michigan and expect them to win outright.

                Guys,

Shoddy web service where I am. Keep getting kicked off before I can deliver my write-ups. Here are condensed versions of my plays.....

                RICE +12- against SMU

The Owls can pass with the Mustangs. Have beaten them 10 straight on this field.

HAWAII -9 against LA TECH (DOUBLE UNIT PLAY)

La Tech starts a new QB for the 4th straight week. Not a good idea against a rested Rainbow team that can light up the scoreboard.

                WASHINGTON STATE +24 at UCLA

It ain't a glamorous pick.....but I'm not alone. This line is dropping fast. Gotta believe the Cougars have a chance to keep it close against a hungover Bruins team whose QB is dinged up.

                As always, best of luck.
                Harry

Michigan, no sense looking back for me. I finished 6-2 for the week, bringing my plays to 24-12 for the year. Very happy with that. I figure you're just happy the Wolverines won....they've got their hands full this week. There are only a few teams that can outscore 'em (see Oregon) but that Michigan defense will be their achille's heel.
