Oh I've joined a few forums in the last 10 days or so. Trying to get as much info as possible, and hear as many opinions as possible before I do my capping. Shouldn't be much of a head scratcher for most folks.

I'm not going to lie- I looked at SP's thread from time to time and actually played a game or two of his.

BUT, having said that, no "real capper" would pull the ish that he did in terms of having a "misleading" record (I'm being kind here) and post things like he did early this morning. Whether upset, frustrated, or whatever...the bottom line is he is/was acting like an immature d-bag. Sure, he got hated on, but at some point you have to just be the bigger person and forget abt it.

IMHO, whatever happened to him was the result of his immaturity and misguided anger. Whether you followed him or not, I think all level-headed people would agree that he acted like a whiny little prick at the end...and there's no place for that here. The mods are looking out for the forum, not the books, and if they allowed everyone to act as he did, they might as well call this "SBR: Just like the middle school girls bathroom"

Never seems to fail here or at any other site for that matter. As soon as a solid capper like SP begins providing winners on a consistent basis, a couple of dipshits come on board and begin posting the hate threads. These idiots don't even wager, they simply follow sports and register at these forums and attack the most popular thread(s). It goes on and on, in fact everywhere I've been it seems these threads turn into nothing more than garbage, apart from the capper's solid picks for the day or the upcoming weekend. Once again these aren't actual gamblers for the most part that start this bullshit either and quite often the delay by the mods to take action against these punks often results in the forum losing a popular capper like SP or Paco, etc., and it only hurts the regulars in the end.

All of us "haters" wanted, is for SP to post an accurate record of his picks. Most who read his threads appreciated seeing his picks. Whether the picks were wagered on or not, wasn't the point.

SP chose to keep track of his picks with a spreadsheet and/or in his signature. The only gripe was the record was inaccurate. What he should have done was just counted the Iowa play as a loss, and moved on. He has never acknowledged that, only gave a bogus explanation of why the Iowa (5 unit) play didn't really count as 5 unit play.

SP, if you just would own up to your mistake, Willy will let you back in.

I DO NOT EVEN THINK HE IS BANNED. I think his ego got hurt when they moved his threads to the private zone--he came undone when that happened.

SP made a dozen bush league moves----he insulted SBR and called the mods ********, when that wasn't enough----he mentioned Mods by names and really was pissing and whining.

But I think the big thing---and this IS JUST A GUESS-------there were guys discussing an email list---and that is a definite no-no....that is why I think one of his threads ended up on the promotions board.

Ask yourself this....why did SP have his PMs taken away a few weeks ago? Clearly he was already on SBR's radar for being dumb----this may have been icing on the cake.

Can someone post SPs picks? Not sure where he went, but guy was clearly better than 50% for sure. I'd say significantly above 50%, which I have not seen from others. Trust him more than I trust my own picks!

As for your post, no. He was not above 50%. In fact, he was 50% on the button, 8-8 in his college plays posted here on SBR.
