East Carolina had a bye week last week, do they come out refreshed and go 3-1?

ECU is the best bet here. UNC hasn't shown that they can beat good teams yet. ECU is a good team and they should make this a very close game

thats what I am thinking, I have been backing them since game 1 and although they blew the last game and got beat by 20+ points and did not cover, I think with last weeks bye week, they will keep this one close
there defense is what scares me though

Their defense hasn't been good at all, but neither has UNC's offense. Unless TJ Yates can have a big day, I still see this coming down to the final couple of minutes

I look at 5 main variables through offense and defense, passing weighing the most.. and i came up with 56.53% that NC will cover the spread.

ECarolina pass defense is very weak, and NC is avg'in 275 yards passing. where E gives up ~303 ~

But I don't know how much UNC's defense, without some starters, will be able to stop the ECU offense

UNC will be worse than Duke in Football in 2-3 years......
The NCAA will virtually give them the death penalty

Over. ECU is playing just like Texas Tech did when Ruffin was there with Leach. The best athletes are on offense, and the defense gets what's left. These should honestly reach this total in the 3rd quarter. Even if one of these teams gets out to a 14 pt lead, there will be no way to slow down the game. ECU will go for broke, and UNC will gash ECU's defense, even if they are simply running the football. Over all day for me. May be my only early-slate play tomorrow.
