On defense, the Gators are ranked 26th in total defense (295.5 ypg), 13th in rushing defense (94), 61st in passing defense (201.5) and 15th in scoring defense (14.25).
Alabama leads the nation in scoring defense (9.75 ppg). The Crimson Tide ranks 24th in total defense (295.25) 27th in rushing defense (106.5) and 52nd in passing defense (188.75).
Bama's Greg McElroy led the nation in passing efficiency through three games, but his rating fell from 200.03 to 178.68 following the Arkansas game. He now ranks seventh in the nation. Through four games, McElroy has completed 61 of 86 passes for 899 yards and seven touchdowns with three interceptions.
Florida's John Brantley has completed 73 of 114 for 700 yards with six touchdowns and one interception.
Alabama's Mark Ingram is averaging 154 yards rushing per game after missing the first two games with a knee injury.
