O.K., if anyone has been watching the game: How inexplicable has B.C.'s play selection been?
It seems that the armchair quarterback is coming out, but I feel that it's warranted. Montel Harris is averaging nearly 6-yds. a pop on 15 carries, yet Spazz has allowed Dave Shinskie to attempt 22 passes. Shinskie, for whatever reason, is pushing the ball and is just inept; he's constantly fading back from phantom pressure into actual pressure, throwing off of his back foot, and is just garbage right now.
This looks like the Cal/U.N.R. match-up -- Montel Harris/Shane Vereen is dominating, yet a horrifically ineffective quarterback is constantly put into unnecessary shotgun situations, taking away the efficiency of a variable ground game.
Furthermore, it seems it was not repeated ad nauseum to Shinskie to not take a sack, OR BE TACKLED IN BOUNDS.
Fvcking moron, throw it out of bounds. You're not a spry athlete, you have no timeouts, and a linebacker AND a safety had an angle on you by the time you even made it to the 5-yd. line.
