Traveling this week, so I'm forced to be economical with my write-ups......
NORTHWESTERN/C. MICHIGAN - UNDER 50-
The Chippewas strength is on defense. The Cats should win but probably won't score past the mid-20s.
FLORIDA STATE/WAKE FOREST - OVER 62-
Wake has been getting shredded on D, giving up an average of 43 ppg. The Sems have the guns to take advantage, on the ground and through the air. Tough scheduling for Wake, having played late last week on the west coast. Tired legs. This one should go into the 70s.
HOUSTON/TULANE - UNDER 57
Gotta figure that the 3rd string Cougar QB didn't get many reps this pre-season. They were a shadow of their former selves last week at UCLA.
BOISE STATE/OREGON STATE - OVER 56 *****(Double Play)*****
On the smurf turf, against a big-time foe, look for the Broncos to make another statement. To them, that means lots of points, probably into the 40s. The Beavers have enough firepower to put up a few of their own.
TEXAS/UCLA - OVER 42
Fairly low number for two squads looking to make some strides offensively.
As always, best of luck.
