Thoughts? My gut tells me that SMU will cover the spread, TCU is bound for a let down. I am most likely going to stay far away unless I see something on this board that sways my opinion.

'Bound for a let down' is the same logic as 'due for a win'. Doesn't mean jack come game time.
I think it's close for a quarter then TCU runs away with it. I'm not sold on SMU being great. Good? Yes. But to run with TCU this year, nah.

either smu or pass for me, dont care how outmatched they are, im a sucker for Jones teams at home catching a bunch of points..biggest problem is how badly tcu be looking for national tv "style points"....also think over is solid as even if tcu does roll them bad i think smu will manage to put up some points...Comment -
I feel like TCU wins easy but SMU covers.
SMU has a good offense and Jone's teams can score points. Even if SMU is down late they will still be throwing it around trying to score.

TCU 1H TT over 18 is the play! Last year TCU had 12 points in the first half, however, they also had 3 turnovers in that half as well. Two of which were in SMU territory. They should score at least 20-21 in the 1H. Safest bet for this game IMO.Comment -
I'm not going to bet on the spread, but if I had too, I would bet TCU beats it. SMU is a decent team, but TCU is unreal this year. They are scoring points and running their offense like their is no opponent on the field. Against Oregon St and Baylor they were able to score 30 and 45 points respectively. I don't think SMU is as good as Oregon St. or Baylor and therefore I don't see any reason to believe TCU will have trouble with them.
The only positive factor for SMU is that it will be a home game for them. That's about it. They may be able to put up some points but it won't be enough to keep up with TCU. In their last home game last week SMU beat Washington St. and only scored 35 points. Washington St. is easily the worst football program of all the "automatic qualifying" teams over the last two or three years. I think they only won 2 games last year. Against TCU's defense, SMU won't be able to put up those kind of points.Comment -
I had miami last night and won!!! And predicted Mia to win by at least 2 td just so they're ranking go up and I read about tcu they have to go undefeated and blow out teams because they're a small school hahaha so I got tcu for this one! SMU wants to shock the world, they are going to give TCU everything they have. June Jones has this team improving but they are still about 2 years away from competing in these types of games. I say that SMU keeps this one close for 2 quarters and then TCU pulls away.

TCU is in a ratings war with Boise. Plus this is the game everyone will be watching Friday night. I predict a focused effort in the spot and the will and desire to pour it on if possible.
