I'm just a contrarian by nature these days, so I always tend to favor picking the teams which are seemingly inferior and look to be a loser (weaker chance at winning, IMO). Also, Fading public money is just the way I think Very often.

I'm serious though it is great to have the game on. Tuesday and Wednesday were depressing for me with no football on prime time. That's an easy fix. Late in the season there is now a stint of about 28 or so days straight with football. Man, that is a tremendous time of the year. Bowl season is superb.
