    1st Official Plays
Just joined the forum this week. Not going to be back in town until midday on Saturday so want to post a few plays now. As always, any feedback is appreciated. I hope to have a few more on Saturday afternoon/evening, depending on how these fare.

    Posted plays:
    NCAA FB = 0-0
    NFL = 0-0

Virginia Tech -4 (2.2 untis to win 2)
VT has been brutal this season dropping their 1st 2 games to Boise and JMU. They finally pulled together for a strong 2nd half against ECU and won a game that was much closer than the final score indicated.
BC has played 2 home games against Weber St and Kent St and won by 18 and 13 respectively. Tough to really tell what they have this season due to their early schedule.
This will be VT's first real road game of the season (Boise was in DC in front of a majority VT fan base) and i fully expect their young defense to give up some points in this game. I would love nothing more than see Tech lose this game and start the season 1-3 but I just don't see it happening. I think VT will get their running game on track and just over power BC in this game. I will go with VT adn the points here.

    Michigan -25.5 (2.2 to win 2)
Robinson is a beast. We all know that. The entire country knows that. Michigan barely squeeked by UMass last week in a game that they were trailing late in the second quarter. Mich gave up 37 to UMass.
Bowling Green had an impressive home win against Marshall who showed they could play with West Va the week before putting up 44 points on the Herd.
So let me get this straight. BG scored 44 points on a team that held WVU to 24 (and that was in OT) and is now playing a team that just gave up 37 to UMass and the line is 25.5.
Seems like way to many to me but the line started at 23 and has gone up 2.5 points. Give me the Wolverines in the Big House.

    California +7 (2.4 to win 2) bought 1/2 point
As you will see with my next selection as well, I like to take teams that severly underachieved the prior week and go against teams that overachieved. Although I do not neccessarily think that Zona really overachived, I do think Cal underacheived.
Cal got smoked by a very good Nevada team on National TV and the Zona held on against a very good Iowa team on National TV the next night.
Give me the Cal Bears and a TD

    BYU +4 (2.2 to win 2)
Same reasoning here as above. Nevada just looked unbeatable last week. BYU struggled against the Noles. No way that Nevada doesnt cover this one right? Not sure but the line is dropping so I must not be the only one that thinks the Cougars win this one.

BYU is missing one of their receivers and better punt/kick returners, Chambers, who was suspended for two games and they are banged up in the secondary as well. Not saying BYU can't win or cover but it's not looking great for them. I think the over is toast whatever it is though...GL

      VMI +40.5 (1.1 to win 1)
I am a UVA fan and would love to see them roll it up on the in state team but i dont see a 6 TD win for them today. FSU coming into town next week, they will be conservative today and should win somewhere between 20 and 30. Nothing near 40 in my opinion.
