South Carolina @ Auburn --- trap?

vegas has Auburn favored -3.5....I was not expecting this, USC has looked better so far, but with the weird line I might buy Auburn down to -2.5 and put a small play on them

I think Auburns a little gased after that Clemson game, a little beat up 2, the Cocks are firing on all cylinders, Auburn had to go deep into thier playbook against Clemson just to win. Gamecocks lost a goodfriend and great ex football player this week (RIP Kenny) they will be very motivated to win this one. With Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, & Clempson left on the schedule, this Auburn game is a Must Have Game to set things up for a Great Season. GL & Go Cocks.

All valid points but it doesn't address the "trap" issue. Auburn -3 at home seems like right line, and SC +3 seems like right play.

Lattimore is a stud back. Easily the best behind the 2 at Bama. He pounded the ball all day against Georgia and they couldnt get him down.

Auburn played 2 tough games back to back whereas SC had a cupcake last week. So a well rested team without any injuries is facing a team with injuries and two tough games. I will pick SC to win outright and don't worry about the +3.

Chizik would have been railed for playing for OT if they had lost that game Saturday night. South Carolina's opponents are comparable to the ones Auburn has faced and they have performed better in each game.

It seems we are talking about two different things. We actually AGREE that South Carolina is the right side here. But my main point was about the line on this game, and you simply cant make Auburn dogs at home vs. a team that is just about equal to them in the power ratings (whether or not that is justified is irrelevant).

i like south carolina too. i think this team has the talent to take to another level when they need to. an underdog visitor will be very much prepared... s.c. hasnt really had to show much game so far this season.
