My play of the week so far

Yeah, that looks like a free chicken dinner taking Nevada.. So does Stanford -5, looked better at -3. You think ND can rally the troops and stay within that number. Stanford looks very sharp on offense. I realize it was against WF but it was still a clinic.

I'm not touching that ND/Stanford game lyon. My gut says the Cardinal rolls. I love that team this year, but no way am I laying a trap number on the road like that.

What else do you like this week? I see quite a few + home teams that the public hates and I don't.

I agree. Stanford is very well coached and cohesive while ND is trying to find it's identity.

I am looking at Georgia +1 on the road to state.. Classic buy low and sell high. State doesn't deserve to be favorites yet and had Georgia got that shit together sooner they would have beat Arkansas. I think Georgia is the play.

Be careful taking Arkansas at home against Bama. I know alot of "sharps" like Arkansas plus the points but what does Arkansas have going for them? A decent QB with a big arm at home? That's all. Arkansas will make some big plays on offense, but in the end Alabama might score every possession.. Arkansas will be stopped enough Alabama wins going away. Arkansas has ZERO defense and Bama will run all day over them.

Boise St 1H might be a play.

UAB +14. Tenn has no right being favored over anybody by 2 td's. I'll take my chances.

Love Kentucky + points for 1H against Florida. Florida has started slow everygame.

Just some leans at the moment. I love college fb, but I am not a bettor of it usually. Not enough games to get worked up over and devote alot of time in it.

I like BYU as well. I think Vegas is begging you to take Nev with a line of less than a TD. Nev just blew Cal out of hte water and BYU looked shaky against the Noles. Now they are getting less than a TD. Cal is a better team than BYU and Nev should win by more than a TD right?

Here's the thing for this game: Riley Nelson, the de facto starter due to experience, is out for the year, but if one watched any B.Y.U. games this year they'd know that Nelson was horrific -- he couldn't pass 8-yds. downfield, nor he could he hold onto the ball when running.

Disgusting.

Jake Heaps is/has been the better quarterback so far, and this bodes well for the Cougars now that he's in.

Mind you, I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain when news broke of Nelson's shoulder injury the line dipped to 4-even at some places.

i like BYU as well nevada coming off a huge win against cal is in a prime spot for a let down.

I like the play also but this could very well be the weekend of the WAC. Fresno St. should beat Ole miss this weekend, Houston Nutt has this team in disarray and the +3 line says it all. Seems like these wac teams have a chip on their shoulders.

I agree on the WAC. This is their busiest weekend to prove to everyone they are a good conference as all 9 teams play OOC foes. I like Fresno St over Ole Miss because OM seems to have packed it in already. I'd have to side with Nevada even with that trap line because they're a better team than BYU. I think many people are going on last years BYU. I like Boise State 1st half as well. You have to think they come out strong and OSU starts slow most games.

Couldn't agree more. Ole Miss is a poor excuse for an SEC team.. Nutt better be looking for new real estate.
