    Saturday's Top Performances
Saturday produced some outstanding individual efforts as well as a couple not so outstanding.

    * Alabama running back MARK INGRAM rushed for 151 yards on nine carries in Bama's easy win over Duke. This was Ingram's first game after suffering a knee injury in practice.

    * TCU's quarterback ANDY DALTON set a school record completing 91.3 percent of his 23 passes for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns.

    * Arkansas quarterback RYAN MALLETT was super in the road win over Georgia completing 21 of 33 for 380 yards, 3 TDs and 0 ints.

    * Michigan's quarterback DENARD ROBINSON had another solid game rushing for 104 yards and passing for 241 yards in 42-37 win over UMass.

    * NEBRASKA'S OFFENSE rushed for 383 yards and put up 56 points on Washington. The Cornmen may just be the best team in the Big 12.

    * OREGON has scored 189 points while giving up just 13 in three games this season. That's an average of 63 points per game.

    * BOSTON COLLEGE and NORTH CAROLINA STATE are the only two undefeated teams in the ACC. Who would have predicted it?

    FLIPSIDE

    * Washington quarterback JAKE LOCKER, a former Heisman candidate, completed only 4 of 20 passes for 70 yards and 2 interceptions in loss to Nebraska.

    * Georgia's MARK RICHT is 0-2 in the SEC for the first time in his 10 years as coach of the Bulldogs.

If you have additional outstanding performances by a player or team, please let us know.

Nebraska looked to be by far and away, the class of the Big 12. Not only do they have a good defense, but their QB, Martinez, is the real deal, and he is a Red Shirt Freshman.

Alabama looks like they may be one of the best teams this century. They have the best running attack since the days of Bush and White back at USC, and a QB that is quite cpable of throwing the ball effectively. Add a solid defense to the mix, and you have the look of hte first BCS repeat Champion.

Georgia HC Richt must be feeling the hot water starting to rise now. He has 10 starters returning on offense and he is 1-2. I realize that Green is out, but Green can not be that valuable. With games left vs Florida in Jacksonville, at Auburn, and Ga. Tech, Richt and is now looking at 5 losses, and unemployment next season.

Good seeing you post in here my friend. I will PM you a message now. Let me know if you receive it.
