I spoke of it in another thread, but there is a "Goldilocks" zone that, if a certain few teams fall into such as a 7-point-handicap in either direction, I will adhere to; Stanford has largely been one of those teams for me in the past year that reside there.

Jim Harbaugh is an elite offensive mind, and Andrew Luck is likely the best signal caller in the country. It's not that hard to see this team being in a position to win each game this season by a touchdown or more. That being said, I know that they will not go undefeated, but, the pure proficiency of this team should afford realistic value in each game at ANYTHING below (-7), regardless of their opponent in 2010.

I can not remember the last time Stanford defeated Notre Dame in South Bend, but I know that it has not been this century. 0-5 since 2000. Notre Dame more or less has their backs to the wall in this game. Kelly was suppose to have a good team, but a loss here not only knocks them out of any BCS game, it could open the floodgates to another terrible season for the Irish. After Stanford, the Irish go to Boston College, never a pleasant experience for them. Then they host Pitt. They also play Navy in East Rutherford, Utah at home, and USC in L.A. A loss to Stanford gives the Irish a 1-3 record. You can see how ugly this can get. It seems as if everyone is on Stanford. I hope everyone is right, but I will pass for now.

from 2000-2009 Stanford won in 2001 & last year. But last year is whats important. The changing of the guard so to speak, maybe???? Stanford has the better coach, the better players, but I feel this will be a 3pt game either way so giving up points is dangerous
