What are your thoughts on Texas -3 @ Texas Tech ?

So what do you guys think about this game ? Is Texas -3 a very good play for this Saturday ?

This game is really iffy, I"m going to watch the 1st half and maybe make a second half bet. I think one way or the other, it's going to be a blowout.

Texas has a very green qb and TT has one of those 9 year starter(ok, only 5th year). And Lubbock is a tough place to play.

But the angle here is the Texas secondary. They are all 3 year starters, except a safety, and looks like all will be headed to the NFL. TT's qb Potts, the 25 year old 9th year starter, has a great arm but doesnt make the best choices, he rattles.

This is one of those games where it may look early like TT will ride the home field enthusiasm to victory. But come the second qtr Texas will begin to impose its will. Texas will rely on its defense so the score could be closer than the score. I look for a 28-20 type game.

Apparently the crowd will give Texas the "silent treatment"...dumbasses.

Regardless, Tech is a figment of what they have been the past decade. I'm usually big on home dogs in rivalry games, but Texas should take this one with relative ease.

It won't be the barn burner track meets of the past between these two. I think turnovers decide this one in UT's favor. UT's offensive line is banged up pretty badly other wise I would be all over UT. I cashed on Tech last weekend so can't go back to that well to soon. I'm passing this one.

Gotta go with texas this week. I think gilbert finally settles down and starts to throw the ball the way he should and texas wins by 10.
