Hey guys. For those who don't know, I use a star system for units, units are more important than w/l as it is the long haul that wins the cash in this business. 30* is as high as it goes here or the equivalent of $3000 at $100 per star, or whatever you roll permits. Rather than make a weekly thread for my NCAA plays I am going to make this my year long thread. I actually waited on that NE play when it opened thinking it would go towards a pick with all the hype around the Jets. Obviously I was wrong. But if you think about it, if the Jets somehow pulled out that win, this game would probably be closer to a pk. With that said I still like NE but I don't see any reason to jump on it until Sunday, I would be shocked to see this go over -3...it should only get better. I made a pretty sizeable play on the Jets season wins...I don't think they will be nearly as good as they are tabbed to. Don't be suprised to see them snowball if they lose to NE this weekend.

Don't have an opinion on Tex/TT, I usually stay away from games like this...in state Rivalry, on the road, laying points, still too early. My first move every week is to find big talent mismatches in the smaller conferences and I go from there, not that I don't play any big names, but thats why I stay away from a game like this right now.

Thanks. I just think there is such a mismatch in offense. Baltimore proved the way to move the ball against the Jets, is by airing it out. Thats exactly what the Pats love to do. If the Jets flal behind early, I see no way Mark sanchez can lead them back. Especially after completing only 10 passes for 76 against a Ravens defense that was supposed to be very weak.

Ed Reed being out scared the oddsmakers into thinking Baltimore wouldn't be there in the secondary, but you can't take the Jets passing game into consideration for how well they played, the Jets don't have one...lets see how Baltimore plays against the Bengals this week...I say the Ravens are for real, they are the only team I took as on a future bet to win the AFC and Superbowl...nothing huge, got them at 12-1 then after week one all of a sudden they are +540 and the favs to win it all...

I like that Houston Pick. UCLA looked AWFUL in both of their games. Even without Case Keenum I believe Houston will be too much for UCLA to handle. I will tail you on that pick. Thanks.
